Being interviewed on Dubai Eye radio with Helen Farmer and Talk Radio Europe with Hannah Murray

Receiving a shout out for her  book Homebird by the brilliant Scottish poet Donna Ashworth.

These are some of the ways Nikki has shown up by combining her experience of running her first business, a hair and beauty salon in Jakarta, Indonesia, her own lived experience of mental health challenges and the subsequent studies to see Nikki supporting other families as she has dedicated her career to helping them to gain the clarity and confidence to raise their families on their own terms.

There is nothing bigger in life than becoming a parent and Nikki believes better preparation can have a huge impact on their mental health.

Delivered with humour, honesty and a pretty strong Scottish accent!

Living in four countries outside of her home in Scotland over the last 19 years became the inspiration for Nikki’s  book Homebird which she proudly launched in 2025. Sharing her own story has been a huge achievement and something she hopes serves as a vehicle to help others as she continues on her mission of redefining maternal mental health.

Whilst working to support others it has not come at the cost of taking away time from Nikki’s most honoured position…being Archie’s Mum! In a world where burnout, hustle culture and endless striving for more is common place, you will find Nikki over here enjoying the simple things in life like hanging out with her husband Kevin (read IT guy), their son Archie and their dog Sandy. Nikki’s values will not be cast aside in the bid for a more impressive social media bio!

Practising what she preaches has fuelled the fire in Nikki’s belly as she continues to embrace personal development, bringing light into dark spaces and modelling to her son what it means to show up for yourself….only then can you show up for others in the way you want to!
