March Muses are the UK’s leading inclusive gifting and lifestyle brand, founded by Croydon mums Alison Burton and Natalie Duvall. Inspired by their daughters’ inability to see themselves reflected in traditional Christmas décor, the founders set out to reimagine gifting and celebration as spaces where everyone truly belongs.
The brand first rose to prominence with its beautifully handcrafted Christmas decorations, including diverse angel tree toppers and Santa baubles. Designed with meticulous attention to skin tone, hair texture, body shape and size, March Muses’ decorations combine elegance with authenticity, offering a modern, inclusive vision of Christmas that had long been missing from the market.
March Muses has achieved a series of landmark milestones. The brand is stocked by prestigious retailers including Selfridges, the Royal Albert Hall, and Liberty London, and in 2022 secured £50,000 investment from Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden on BBC’s Dragons’ Den. In 2023, the business entered a groundbreaking five-year partnership with Tesco, launching a diverse festive range spanning wrapping paper, decorations and cards, while also expanding into year-round gifting products such as mugs, candles, clothing and water bottles.
In 2025, March Muses reached a major cultural moment by previewing its first national TV advert on ITV, The Best Looking Tree on the Street. Created in partnership with Gurillascope, the advert celebrates representation, joy and belonging and has since.
