Jeanette Lynge Nielsen, 51years "young", married for 24 years, mother of four adult children and grandmother to seven, is Denmark’s first serious cleaning influencer. With more than 30 years of homemaking experience, she has spent the past seven years breaking down the stigma around the word husmor (“housewife”) and showing the value of caring for home and family life.
Her platform, Husmortip.dk, brings together an Instagram community of more than 67,000, a Facebook following of over 37,000, and a membership site with hundreds of engaged members. Jeanette’s expertise has also been featured multiple times on Danish national TV, in articles for Ritzau, and across several Danish magazines, establishing her as a trusted voice in sustainable homemaking.
In 2025 she published her first book, The Kitchen Bible, a practical guide to sustainable kitchen cleaning, filled with tips, methods, and natural solutions.
Passionate about doing more with less, Jeanette promotes natural and probiotic-based cleaning solutions that protect health, home, and the environment. Her work highlights the Danish way of creating balance, simplicity, and wellbeing in daily routines.
This year at Home, Life & You, Jeanette presents “Clean & Tidy, the Danish Way” – a session that combines hands-on cleaning advice with insight into the Danish lifestyle values that make everyday life calmer, cleaner, and more sustainable.
