Dr Clare Anyiam-Osigwe BEM (born Clare Eluka, 1985) is a British filmmaker, screenwriter, actress, skincare pioneer, and entrepreneur.
She founded Premae Skincare in 2011, the world’s first 100% vegan, allergen-friendly beauty brand, earning recognition from PETA, The Vegan Society, and Allergy UK. In 2017, she was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to dermatology.
Transitioning into film, Clare wrote and directed her debut feature, No Shade (2018), making her only the sixth Black British female director to release a feature in UK cinemas. The race drama premiered at the British Urban Film Festival and screened internationally.
A graduate of LAMDA, she continues to bridge the worlds of beauty, wellness, and film with a focus on representation and social impact.
