Deborah is a business leader, author and is well known for her role as an investor on DragonsDen which she joined in 2006.
Deborah supports ethical, fair practiceboth in business and in life believing that taking care of the environment andwildlife is essential for our future security and wellbeing. She is actively involved in a carefullyselected group of environmental charities; is a Fellow of the WWF, a Patron ofTusk Trust, an Ambassador for the Marine Conservation Society, World HorseWelfare and recently the RSPB amongst others. She has become a CIWF Patron.
In early 2022 Deborah co-hosted the first series of The BigGreen Money Show with Felicity Hannah, looking at company impact on theplanet as well as how sustainability can be viewed as an opportunity or aninconvenience. It instantly became one of the UKs biggest Businesspodcasts.
In July 2023 her book ‘WhyMoney Matters’ was published; an accessible guide to the world of money for 6to 9 year olds and became an instant best seller.
In June 2024 her book ‘TalksMoney’ was published; the empowering introduction into money and finance for 12-16year olds and also became an instant best seller.
