Agnes Agyepong

Agnes Agyepong is the founder of the GLOMAMA Awards, the annual celebration of mothers she created in 2018 to help women rediscover their glow after pregnancy and to honour the resilience, creativity, and quiet brilliance that motherhood asks of them. Now in its ninth year and reaching well over a million people, GLOMAMA has grown into one of the most recognised platforms celebrating mothers, with a community that stretches far beyond where it began.

A mother of three, Agnes is also the founder and chief executive of Global Child and Maternal Health, a research and advocacy organisation working to improve health and life outcomes for mothers and children in underserved communities. Her work spans grassroots community rooms to national media, including BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, Grazia, Stylist, and Metro. She has been recognised by Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation, was named one of the UK’s Top 100 Ghanaian-Britons at the House of Commons, holds an honorary doctorate from Solent University, and was named on Red magazine’s inaugural Soft Power List.

On the GLOMAMA stage at Home, Life and You, Agnes brings warmth, honesty, and a deep belief in community. She speaks to the real texture of motherhood, the glow and the grit, and to what becomes possible when mothers are supported to thrive rather than simply cope.
