When you are not feeling at your bravest it can seem easier to not get out and face the world and stay at home where you hopefully feel safe and in control, but it can also be lonely. Simplifying your meals enables you to eat better whilst saving you money, time and stress: although the steps you take may seem small, they have the ability to combine to make a big difference and reduce time clearing and cleaning up. Changing habits and routines can feel overwhelming, so start small – perhaps begin with just one day a week: I’m quite liking the sound of a traybake Tuesday!

In every newsletter, I will answer a reader’s question relating to all things clean and tidy. No problem is too big or too small… if there no space in your airing cupboard or a wine stain that you can’t shift, I’m here to help you move that job along, just like Mary Poppins’ spoonful of sugar.
